North Vancouver is the city that has it all, surrounded by green belts and parks, lovely mountains, or water depending on your direction. Moodyville (now Moodyville Park) is the oldest settlement on the Burrard Inlet, predating Vancouver; New Westminster is the only other older non-native settlement in the region. This city has become the perfect marriage between urban living and wild nature. Even with its significant industry in shipping, chemical production, and film, the city is usually considered a suburb of Vancouver. With beautiful greenery all around you, parks, mountainous trails of every kind, it’s hard to imagine spending your free time maintaining your yard instead of exploring all that this beautiful city has to offer.
